Blake Lindley

Starting with CI Web Group, I didn’t really know much except the basics — but I knew I had an opportunity to make the most of. I started in content migration, moved into WordPress and Webflow site development & product owner, and now I help manage the infrastructure the company runs on. In each position I’ve been in, I’ve always looked at the bigger picture, trying to save the company time, resources, and money. That mindset is what helped me continuously adapt and learn more quickly in every role I took on.

Each move asked something new of me. Migration taught me the details that actually matter when you touch a client’s content, and how to move efficiently. Development taught me growth across a lot of different facets at once — server management, DNS, frontend, backend and how to build sites that people actually like and that convert. Infrastructure taught me how to read through code quickly and decipher which changes would benefit the company and which ones would hurt it. It also taught me to see through the perspective of the person writing the code, and what they were trying to accomplish. Each role I’ve taken on in this company was a chapter, and each one made the next one possible.

I’m here because I believe this company delivers the best results at the greatest velocity of any marketing company I’ve worked for. This is, by far, the most future-focused company I have ever worked for. We are constantly evolving with new ideas to change the game, and I love it. I’ve watched the work change under my feet more than once, and I’ve watched the company keep aiming ahead of where the industry is.

I’m also here because of the amazing team I get to work with, new experiences and mainly growth. The opportunities I’ve had here didn’t just give me a new title. They made me more versatile in whatever position I take on. When your job keeps evolving, you either get rigid or you get adaptable. This place forced the second option and I’m meant for it.
