This notice explains your right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and how CI Web Group, Inc. (“CI Web Group,” “we,” “us”) handles those requests. It applies to the websites we operate, including https://ciwebgroup.com, https://getstarted.ciwebgroup.com, and any other ciwebgroup.com subdomain we operate (collectively, the “Sites”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. Your Right to Opt Out
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), and similar laws in other U.S. states, you have the right to direct a business not to sell or share your personal information. Under these laws:
- “Sell” means disclosing personal information to a third party in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration.
- “Share” means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for money.
2. Our Practice
CI Web Group does not sell your personal information for money. We do not exchange your personal information for monetary consideration with third parties.
We do use common analytics and advertising technologies (such as cookies and pixels) that, under the broad CCPA/CPRA definitions, may be considered “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of that activity at any time using the methods below, and we honor those requests.
Mobile and SMS data is never sold or shared. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected for text-messaging purposes are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. They are disclosed only to the messaging providers that operate the texting program on our behalf, solely to deliver messages you requested.
3. How to Opt Out
You can exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information in any of the following ways:

- Use a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We treat a recognized GPC browser signal as a valid request to opt out of sharing for the browser or device from which it is sent.
We will process your request as required by applicable law, generally within 15 business days for opt-out requests, and we do not require you to create an account to submit one.
4. Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us.
5. Verification
An opt-out of sale or sharing does not require us to verify your identity. For other privacy rights (such as the right to know, correct, or delete), we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. No Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level or quality of service because you exercised your right to opt out.
