Quick answer: Earlier this year, CI Web Group gave away a complete Hydra OS website to a small business, no strings attached. The winner was Head's Plumbing Sales and Service, Inc. of Atlanta — Georgia's oldest Black-owned residential plumbing company, run today by third-generation owner Khadija J. Head, PMP. She's also the first woman-owned business to win the giveaway. In this episode, Khadija talks about running the company's website herself on self-taught WordPress before the win, and what changed moving to a fully AI-powered Hydra OS build.

A three-generation company, run on self-taught WordPress
Head's Plumbing has been in business since 1981, founded by Khadija and her brother Odari's parents and grandparents. Khadija now leads the company as CEO, with Odari running field operations as the third generation in the trade. Before the giveaway, the company's web presence — like so many trades businesses — was something Khadija had taught herself to manage on WordPress, on top of everything else that comes with running a plumbing company: licensing, crews, customers, and a reputation built over four and a half decades.
That's a familiar starting point for a lot of the owners we work with. A self-built site can get a business online, but it rarely gets a business found — and it almost never gets a business cited by the AI tools more homeowners now ask before they call anyone.
What changed with Hydra OS
Head's Plumbing's Hydra OS build went live on August 6, 2026, at 1,575 pages spanning 19 plumbing service silos across 44 metro-Atlanta service areas — the largest launch of that month's cohort. The full build story, including the site's numbers and Khadija's own feedback during the process, is on our Head's Plumbing featured customer page and in our earlier post, the announcement of the giveaway win.
The short version: an AI-powered site isn't a bigger version of a WordPress theme. It's built so the site's structure, content, and service-area coverage are something both homeowners and AI search tools can actually parse and trust — the same infrastructure CI Web Group builds for every Hydra OS client, gifted in full for this one.
Why every woman-owned business should enter
Khadija was the first woman-owned business to win this giveaway, and her story is exactly why we keep running it: a business that has already earned its reputation with real customers and real work often hasn't had the chance to have that reputation matched by its website. Georgia's oldest Black-owned plumbing company, three generations deep, deserved a site as credible as the company itself. If that sounds like your business, watch the episode and keep an eye out for the next giveaway window.
