Head's Plumbing Hydra OS website live at headsplumbing.com — the International Women's Day giveaway build

Quick answer: For International Women's Day 2026, CI Web Group gave away a complete Hydra OS website — a full build, the same one our clients invest in, no small print. Many businesses applied. The winner was Head's Plumbing Sales and Service, Inc. of Atlanta: Georgia's oldest Black-owned residential plumbing company, three generations in the trade, led today by CEO Khadija J. Head, PMP. On August 6, 2026, their gift went live at headsplumbing.com — and at 1,575 pages it is the largest launch of our August cohort.

A giveaway, not a discount

This past March, around International Women's Day, we put a promise on a landing page: one business would receive a complete website from CI Web Group as a gift. Not a template, not a starter tier with an upsell behind it — the full build. The women of our own team carried the campaign: Krista Glasser organized it, and Jazmin Ramirez, Hailey Hooge, Addison McKissack, and Kate Torres put their own faces on the promo reels that spread it.

Applications came in from many businesses. Every one of them was somebody's company, somebody's years of work — which is exactly why we didn't want the pick to come down to whoever wrote the smoothest essay.

How we chose — and why it kept coming up Head's

We put the applications through the same Hydra OS AI that runs our platform, and asked it the question we ask about every build: where would this work matter most? The pick it kept surfacing was the same one our team kept coming back to. When you look at Head's Plumbing, you see why:

  • Forty-five years in the trade. Head's Plumbing was established in southwest Atlanta in 1981 by Khadija and Odari Head's parents and grandparents — a family who believed plumbing safeguards public health and builds stability through skilled work.
  • Three generations, still one family on every job. Today Khadija J. Head, PMP, leads the company as CEO, and her brother Odari — third generation in the trade — leads field operations.
  • Georgia's oldest Black-owned residential plumbing company — their own line, backed by features in phcppros and City Lifestyle, and by certified Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Disadvantaged Business status plus a registered City of Atlanta SBE.
  • The reputation to match: a BBB A+ rating, a 4.7-star average across hundreds of reviews, and Georgia Master Plumbing licenses guiding the work.
  • They give back. The company renovated Atlanta's Nicholas House shelter and actively mentors the next generation into the skilled trades — especially within their own community.

That's a woman-led, three-generation family company that spent four and a half decades earning metro Atlanta's trust one home at a time. If International Women's Day means anything for a company like ours, it means putting our best work behind a story like that.

On March 25, our Executive Director of Growth, Jazmin Ramirez, opened the project channel with "CONGRATS ON BEING OUR WINNER!!" — and Khadija's reply set the tone for the whole build: "I'm so excited for the process and to learn Slack as well."

What a gifted website turned into

Here is the part I'm proudest of: nobody at CI Web Group treated this as a freebie. The build that shipped on August 6 is the largest launch of our August cohort — 1,575 pages in the live sitemap, 19 plumbing service silos crossed with 44 metro-Atlanta service areas, with water line, water heater, tankless, sewer line, and gas line each carrying 225 pages of service-by-city depth.

The live hero leads with the thing no competitor can copy: "Generations in the trade. Trusted in your home." — backed a screen later by "Four decades. Three generations. One family on every job." The homepage meets homeowners symptom-first ("What's actually wrong with your plumbing?"), and a Learning Center of homeowner plumbing guides teaches before it sells.

The full launch story, with before-and-after and the numbers read off the live sitemap, is on the Head's Plumbing featured customer page.

In Khadija's words

From her written feedback during the build, shared with her team and ours:

  • "I love love love the sight. My favorite part is where customers are educated about plumbing. That's a game changer" — on the Learning Center, July 8.
  • "Did I mention I love everything about every inch of the website" — signing off her final review, July 17, with one instruction: "let's share the team's masterpiece with the world."

From giveaway winner to the InvestFest stage

Khadija takes the stage at InvestFest in Atlanta this week — and told us she wants to give the new website a shout-out while she's up there. Her company's press page already carries InvestFest 2026 coverage from FOX 5 Atlanta, the AJC, and Her Modern Life. A gift we handed out in March is now part of how Georgia's oldest Black-owned plumbing company tells its story on one of the biggest stages in Atlanta.

One honest note, because we publish launches the same way whether they're gifts or engagements: the site went live on August 6, 2026. Traffic, ranking, and business-result claims wait for a measured post-launch window — for Head's Plumbing exactly as for everyone else.
