Nathalie's full letter — “The Incomparable Jennifer Bagley” — now leads this page and is featured in Hands Up. It opens with the EGIA conference story: she stormed out of Jennifer's session after hearing “wives who run the office,” was talked back in by Jessica from Daikin, and found kinship when Jennifer apologized and said, “Let's figure this out together. Let's find a way for women to be recognized in this industry.”
The letter also carries the long CI Web Group relationship in her words — trusting the team on website and SEO when she “often had no idea what she was talking about,” jumping to an AI-powered Webflow site, adopting tools like One Path and AI messaging, and the client-stated growth record of a 25% annual increase over the last two years without raising Google ad spend. That growth line is Nathalie's account of the years with CI Web — not a measured Hydra after score.
Hydra is the next chapter she names explicitly: “Our venture into Hydra with Jennifer is the next exciting step,” with the friendship between Chris, Nathalie, Jennifer, and Mike at the center. A Jul 4, 2026 full-page capture locks the before homepage. After imagery, Lighthouse scores, traffic, and ranking claims stay unpublished until they are measured on the live Hydra domain.
Every page ships with structured brand intelligence built in, so Google and AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini can verify exactly what the business does — and new pages are submitted for indexing the moment they go live, not weeks later. It's all built on Hydra OS: a database-free architecture that's dramatically faster and harder to hack than a traditional WordPress site, with an intelligence layer that keeps it optimizing itself.

Every dated entry is one of two things: a performance gain measured against this client's own pre-launch baseline (Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile, and call tracking — percentage gains only, the raw numbers stay private), or a strategic addition shipped to the live site straight from our build record. A Hydra site isn't a launch-and-leave project — the timeline below is what continuous improvement actually looks like.

The Incomparable Jennifer Bagley
I was so touched when Jennifer asked me to help write an excerpt for her book. It means a lot that she wanted our take.
I have to start with the story of how Jennifer and I actually met, because it's a good one. I'd just cofounded Women in HVAC Canada, and I was proud of what we'd built to get more women into the trades. Chris and I were at the EGIA conference in Las Vegas, and I sat in on a marketing presentation Jennifer was giving. One of the first things out of her mouth was something about the men in the room going home and telling their “wives” who run the office... Honestly, I'm not sure I even heard the rest of the sentence, because I got hot and stormed straight out of the room.
How dare she say that women only amount to being the “wife” who runs the office. That went against everything I'd spent ten years fighting for. Except, sadly, she was right. I was the only woman in the room at these conferences, one of the only ones standing as a true equal to my husband in running the business.
Jessica from Daikin caught me on my way out, could see I was visibly shaken, and talked me into staying to actually meet Jennifer, who I had clearly misunderstood.
Jennifer came and found me afterward, apologized, and got exactly why I was frustrated. She said, “Let's figure this out together. Let's find a way for women to be recognized in this industry.” I felt an instant kinship with her.
When we signed on to have CI Web Group build our new website and SEO, I often had no idea what she was talking about, but I trusted her and her team to build us something great. Years later, when Jennifer recommended we switch to an AI-powered Webflow site, I didn't hesitate, I jumped at the chance. Once again I had no idea what she was talking about and didn't understand AI at all, but I knew she'd lead us into the next generation of marketing for our small HVAC company. Chris and I, in Jennifer's words, decided to “Suck it up with a Smile.”
Since joining CI Web, we've been introduced to new tools like One Path, AI messaging, and a bunch of other fantastic AI-powered solutions that have made day-to-day operations so much easier.
Our company has seen steady growth for years with CI Web, including a 25% annual increase over the last two, without increasing our Google ad spend. In fact, our SEO is so good that I recently got a call from a customer who thought she'd dialed our main competitor, a national billion-dollar company. Not bad for a six-truck HVAC contractor in small-town Canada!
Our venture into Hydra with Jennifer is the next exciting step on the road we're traveling with her and her team. Chris's and my journey with Jennifer and Mike has blossomed into a real friendship rather than just a working relationship, and we are so grateful to have them in our corner.

Hands Up.
