AirWorks Solutions
AirWorks Solutions went WordPress → Webflow + Cortex AI → Hydra OS. The Webflow + Cortex chapter let them turn paid advertising off and grow net margins from 10% to 25%. A month into Hydra OS, midsummer sessions are up 177% year over year, Search Console clicks are up 33% in an equal 25-day window, and Google Business Profile impressions are up 82% since the Jun 24 cutover.
“We went from WordPress to Webflow with CI Web Group's Cortex AI, and that's the chapter that changed everything. We turned paid advertising completely off and watched our net margins climb from 10% to 25%. Now they've moved us to Hydra OS, the fastest, smartest version of our site yet, built to win Google and the AI tools customers ask first. CI Web Group didn't just build us a website; they gave us our most profitable years. I tell every contractor I meet: this is the future.”

AirWorks Solutions (airworkssolutions.com) is Camarillo's homegrown HVAC and plumbing team — family-run, “Mom Approved,” not a franchise and not private-equity owned — serving Camarillo and 30-plus Ventura County communities since 2010. They carry a 4.9-star rating across 1,000-plus reviews, the 2025 Camarillo Business of the Year award, the Angi Super Service Award, and four straight years as a Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave. Founder-led system design (Kevin Allen has engineered commercial HVAC since 2002) and a no-commission, “options, not ultimatums” sales philosophy set them apart.
Their digital transformation came in chapters. CI Web Group first moved AirWorks off WordPress and onto Webflow paired with our Cortex AI content engine in August 2025 — and that's the chapter that changed the business. They turned paid advertising completely off and grew net margins from roughly 10% to 25%, proof that a fast, content-rich, AI-optimized site could carry their growth on organic alone.
In June 2026, AirWorks took the next leap: a full relaunch on Hydra OS, our AI-first, database-free platform. The new site is dramatically faster and far more capable — more than 1,700 pages spanning every service and all 32 Ventura County cities they cover, structured so both Google and the AI answer engines homeowners now ask first route the exact request to AirWorks. It's loaded with conversion tools most contractors don't have: an interactive “what's going on at your place?” home-hotspot diagnostic, an instant online quote builder, a financing project planner that bundles HVAC, plumbing, and insulation into one GoodLeap payment, the new Comfort Monitoring app, a free-second-opinion tool, and an honest handyman-vs-PE-vs-franchise comparison that makes the local-family case at a glance.
A Learning Center and AirWorks Academy answer the questions Ventura County homeowners actually ask — 2026 Title 24 heat-pump rules, HEEHRA rebates up to $8,000, whether tankless is worth it — in an answer-first, intent-tiered structure built for AEO and generative search. It's all on Hydra OS: a database-free architecture that loads in well under a second, is harder to hack than WordPress, and keeps optimizing itself.
A month after the Jun 24 Hydra OS cutover — with Wave 1 content live Jul 5 — the July 2026 performance pack reads cleanly: midsummer sessions up 177% year over year, Search Console clicks up 33% with CTR nearly doubled (0.18% → 0.33%), and Google Business Profile impressions up 82% (website clicks +54%, directions +65%, calls +18%). Phone is the bright spot in the conversion read; total leads and web forms versus the pre-Hydra equal window remain soft — an honest early-stage picture, not a victory lap.
On Jul 24, 2026, Stephanie Allen posted on Facebook about the Hydra OS tools: Jennifer L Bagley interviewed Kevin and Stephanie about AirWorks history and what sets them apart, then turned Kevin Allen's expertise into homeowner education tools that stay on brand, empower informed decisions, and keep the site getting smarter for AI search. Her full praise is on this page and on the CI Web Group testimonials wall.
Before & after.
- Pre-2025WordPress — slow, hard to update
- Aug 2025Webflow + Cortex AI — paid ads off, margins 10% → 25%
- Jun 24, 2026Hydra OS cutover — live
- Jul 2026Performance pack — sessions YoY +177%, GSC clicks +33%, GBP impressions +82%
Two upgrades, one trajectory: the Webflow + Cortex AI chapter delivered the business results (paid advertising off, net margins 10% → 25%); Hydra OS is the next leap — and a month in, midsummer sessions, search click quality, and GBP actions are the measured early wins.

Live since Jun 24, 2026 — and improved ever since.
Every dated entry is one of two things: a performance gain measured against this client's own pre-launch baseline (Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile, and call tracking — percentage gains only, the raw numbers stay private), or a strategic addition shipped to the live site straight from our build record. A Hydra site isn't a launch-and-leave project — the timeline below is what continuous improvement actually looks like.

“I absolutely cannot believe the crazy tools and features that CI Web Group is able to come up with using their Hydra OS.
Kevin and I spent several hours being interviewed by Jennifer L Bagley about the history of our business as well as what sets AirWorks Solutions apart. She took that information and so much of Kevin Allen's genius and created absolutely incredible customer tools to inform and educate them about their homes. This could not be more on Brand for us!! We want every homeowner to be empowered to make informed decisions.
Think about how far this will set us ahead in the AI search game. We are already seeing amazing results and the site just keeps getting smarter and smarter.
So grateful to be one of your clients and blessed to call you all friends!”
