First: thank you

Your trust built the road to Hydra.

You trusted us with your website before Hydra existed. This complimentary upgrade is our way of honoring that relationship—not asking you to buy the same foundation twice.

The web changed. Compliance expectations changed. Search moved into AI answers. Speed and response time became competitive advantages. Hydra is how we address those changes without discarding the content, authority, and history you already built.

What the upgrade addresses

Four problems.
One stronger foundation.

01

Compliance-ready by design

Accessibility foundations, privacy and consent controls, secure forms, legal-page readiness, and recurring QA are built into the operating standard instead of bolted on after launch.

02

Load times without plugin drag

Hydra publishes static Astro pages to the edge. There is no public WordPress database, theme runtime, or plugin chain sitting between a customer and the page.

03

Ready for AI search

Structured entities, schema, answer-first content, internal linking, and machine-readable facts help Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other answer engines understand the business.

04

Faster response and changes

A simpler production stack, direct team access, automated QA, and a repeatable deployment pipeline let routine updates move in hours instead of waiting through plugin and ticket queues.

“Compliance-ready” means technical and operational safeguards, recurring QA, and published policies—not a guarantee against every legal claim. CI Web Group does not provide legal advice.

Everything in the $250 plan

Ownership without ambiguity

Your business stays yours.

No term contract should turn your identity, history, domain, or content into rented media. The honest distinction is between the assets your business owns and the Hydra technology licensed to operate them.

You keep what belongs to your business

Your domain, business data, approved content, original pages, blog posts, media you own, SEO metadata, redirects, and public information architecture remain yours.

Your assets stay portable

If you leave, we can export the owned content, media, metadata, and redirect map for the next provider. A platform change still requires a technical migration or rebuild.

Hydra technology remains Hydra

CI Web Group retains the reusable platform code, components, agents, automations, and infrastructure that operate Hydra OS. Those systems are licensed as part of the active plan.

Straight answers

Your Hydra upgrade questions.

Pricing, ownership, WordPress exports, migration risk, and what happens if you say no—answered without hiding the tradeoffs.

01What is the monthly cost of moving my website to Hydra?+

For eligible current CI Web Group customers, the one-time Hydra migration and upgrade fee is waived. The ongoing plan is $250 per month, billed automatically each month until canceled with 30 days’ notice.

02Is Hydra still built on WordPress, or is it a proprietary CI Web Group platform?+

Hydra OS is CI Web Group’s proprietary website operating and delivery platform built on modern technologies including Astro. The public website is static and database-free; it is not a WordPress theme or a WordPress site running plugins. WordPress PMS may be used behind the scenes as an editorial source, but visitors never load a live WordPress application.

03Am I required to sign a new contract, membership, or monthly service agreement to keep my website active?+

To activate and keep a Hydra site hosted, maintained, secured, and supported by CI Web Group, you accept the $250 monthly subscription and auto-renewal terms. It is month-to-month, not a long-term contract, and can be canceled with 30 days’ notice.

04If I move to Hydra, am I locked into CI Web Group’s platform going forward?+

No long-term contract locks you in. Your business identity and owned assets remain portable. Hydra’s platform code, reusable components, agents, and infrastructure remain CI Web Group technology, so leaving Hydra means exporting your owned content and data and rebuilding or migrating them to the platform you choose.

05Do I fully own my website content, pages, images, blog posts, SEO work, page structure, and domain?+

Yes—you own your domain, business data, approved site content, original pages and blog posts, your images or properly transferred image licenses, SEO metadata, redirect map, and public information architecture. Third-party licensed assets remain subject to their licenses, and CI Web Group retains its proprietary Hydra platform code, reusable components, automations, and agent systems.

06Can my current website be exported and moved to my own WordPress hosting provider instead?+

If your current website is a WordPress site and you control the underlying account and assets, CI Web Group can coordinate a standard WordPress handoff instead of a Hydra migration. Your new provider is responsible for importing, configuring, testing, licensing, and operating it. A Hydra site itself is not WordPress and cannot be moved as a WordPress installation without a separate rebuild.

07If I move the site to my own WordPress hosting, can CI Web Group provide a full export of the website, including WordPress files, database, media library, plugins/theme details, redirects, forms, and SEO settings?+

For an existing WordPress site, we can provide a commercially reasonable handoff of the files, database, media, redirect and SEO configuration, and implementation details under our control. Passwords, secrets, historical form submissions, non-transferable software licenses, and proprietary CI Web Group tools are excluded. Vendor licenses may need to be repurchased, and the receiving provider must validate the restored site.

08What happens if I do not approve the move to Hydra? Will my website remain live, and for how long?+

Declining this offer does not create an immediate shutdown. Your current website remains live while its existing hosting and service arrangement stays active. This page does not establish a legacy-platform sunset date; if one is set, CI Web Group will provide written notice and transition options before any change.

09Will the Hydra migration affect my current URLs, redirects, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, tracking, forms, page speed, or existing SEO work?+

The migration is designed to preserve valuable SEO equity. We inventory URLs, retain canonical paths where practical, map 301 redirects, migrate content and metadata, reconnect analytics and Search Console, validate forms and tracking, crawl the finished site, and measure performance. Temporary search fluctuation is possible with any platform migration, so launch QA and post-launch monitoring are included; rankings are never guaranteed.

10What exactly is included in the Hydra plan compared to my current hosting/setup?+

The $250 plan combines the Hydra OS platform, managed hosting and edge delivery, maintenance, security, compliance-ready foundations and QA, basic design changes, one optimized blog each week, and a one-time full SEO migration pass. Major redesigns, custom software, paid media, ongoing full-service marketing, and large new content programs are separate.

11Is the Hydra upgrade really free?+

The eligible current-customer upgrade and one-time migration work are complimentary—there is no separate website rebuild fee for the included scope. The $250 monthly plan begins when you enroll and covers the ongoing platform, hosting, content cadence, maintenance, security, compliance QA, and support.

12Can I upgrade from this plan to full marketing?+

Yes. The $250 Hydra Upgrade keeps the website foundation healthy. Customers who want ongoing SEO, local visibility, AI-search growth, paid media, PR, conversion work, or a larger content program can configure full marketing with live pricing in Get Started.
