To check your ad preferences, click the down arrow in the top right corner of Facebook, click “Settings & Privacy,” then click “Ad Preferences.” Review the settings and make any necessary changes.

Report the hack to Facebook: If you believe your account has been hacked, you should report it to Facebook as soon as possible. To do this, click the down arrow in the top right corner of Facebook and click “Help & Support.” From there, you can find options for reporting a hacked account or compromised login.

It’s also a good idea to let your friends and family know that your account has been hacked, so they don’t inadvertently share sensitive information with the hacker.

Recently, there has been a broader security breach where a group of hackers is targeting specific accounts. In this case, it is important to report the issue to Facebook as soon as possible so that they can investigate and take appropriate action.

Follow the steps outlined in my previous response to change your password, enable two-factor authentication, review your account activity, and check your ad preferences. It is also a good idea to let your friends and family know about the issue, so they can take steps to protect their own accounts.

If you believe that your financial information has been compromised as a result of the hack, you should also consider contacting your bank or credit card company to report the issue and request assistance. They may be able to freeze your accounts or issue new cards to prevent further unauthorized activity.
